Dr. Mike also coaches his patients on lifestyle pointers that relate to certain activities they should avoid or do differently to avoid aggravating their particular condition. For example, if you have a history of low back pain and sit with a wallet in your back pocket, you should stop because it raises one side higher than the other and this leads to compensation in the low back that can keep you in pain longer. His goal is to help every patient feel their best both physically and mentally. Dr. Mike recognizes that each patient is a unique individual and has their own unique concerns and that is one of his favorite parts of the job because no two people are the same and each patient presents a new challenge that keeps care interesting.
